The program
Virtuoso benefits.
For luxury hotels without their own advisor program, Virtuoso is the answer: a global network whose amenities apply across hundreds of independent and flagship properties.
$100 equivalent amenity
A $100 property, spa, or dining credit (or equivalent amenity) per stay.
Daily breakfast for two
Complimentary breakfast throughout the stay.
Upgrade priority
One category at check-in, subject to availability.
Flexible arrival
Early check-in / late check-out priority plus welcome amenity.
Worth knowing
Why book Virtuoso through an advisor.
Where a hotel has its own program above, I book that instead. Chain-direct programs outrank Virtuoso for upgrade priority. Virtuoso is the floor, never the ceiling. You pay the hotel's own best available rate. The benefits are the difference, not the price. More on booking a luxury hotel through an advisor.
The honest fine print: benefits are provided by the program, vary by property and rate, and availability-based items are never guaranteed. Exactly what applies to your stay is confirmed in writing in your proposal, and bookings are made directly with the hotel through the preferred channel, so you keep your loyalty points and status eligibility where the program allows it.
Start HereCompared with booking direct
Virtuoso vs booking direct.
Virtuoso is the network for luxury hotels without their own advisor program, including Aman, Auberge, Capella, Cheval Blanc, and One&Only. Booking direct at these properties usually means no added benefits. Where a hotel group runs its own program, I book that instead, because it typically ranks higher for upgrades.
Questions
What are Virtuoso benefits?
Booked through The Plane Prince Travel, Virtuoso stays can include: $100 equivalent amenity; daily breakfast for two; upgrade priority; flexible arrival. Benefits vary by property and rate, and exactly what applies is confirmed in writing before you book.
Do I pay more than booking direct?
No. You pay the hotel's own best available rate, the same rate you would see booking direct. The benefits are the difference, not the price, and hotel-only bookings carry no planning fee.
How do I book Virtuoso?
Send the hotel and your dates through Start Here. I confirm the property participates, then book directly with the hotel through the program's preferred channel, with the benefits that apply confirmed in writing before you commit.
